In a certain way, we are a bit of your Swiss Army knife, dedicated to help materialize (and smoothen) your project. And our tools are the services listed below; we can provide whichever is relevant to your project.

Our fixers are Japanese natives (yet fluent in English and French) – meaning the language barrier will be in effect broken, and the communication with any stakeholder or locals as transparent as possible. They can also decipher any reaction or reply that is obliged by the Japanese etiquette – like (once deciphered): “I would really like to say 'no' but that would be rude, so I'm saying 'yes' instead” or “That really makes me pride or embarrassed, but I must refrain from showing it”, etc.

They can also teach the basics of Japanese manners to the crew – including the exchange of meishi (business cards). Speaking of meishi, we can print some for you.

Whether your crew is only missing a few members, or you need to assemble a whole crew from scratch: we can use our local network to find available professionals. Moreover, we have a large portfolio of Assistant Producers, Assistant Directors, cameramen, location managers, etc.

To help your cash flow, or if you'd rather not carry too much cash around, etc. we can advance money on your expenses (a 15-20% charge will apply).

Whether you will bring some equipment with you, or none: we can arrange for the rental of the required equipment at the best price – be it camera, sound, light, grip, make-up equipment, etc.

We can book a car or van for you, with or without a driver, at the best possible price. Furthermore, we work with several experienced drivers, each with a mastery of the Japanese geography and quick to adapt to any last minute change.

We can handle your meals, from purchasing bento boxes to hiring a catering service – whichever best fits the specifics of your shooting. We can provide either Western-style or Japanese food, or a bit of both.

We can book any type of accommodation, from capsule hotels to regular hotels and ryokan; either with Western-style beds or Japanese futons, etc.

If you are planning some drone shots, we can arrange for the rental of a drone (size and model according to your needs) and/or check whether the intended shots comply with the drone laws (most of the time, they do), and apply for permits when necessary (that's the case for metropolitan areas). In the unlikely event that your drone shot is not allowed, we could suggest alternative locations, or find stock footage to accommodate your editing.
A quick word of cautions: the processing of said permits takes about 4-5 weeks.

We can oversee the organization of your project, whether for advance planning or day-to-day operation. That includes, but is not limited to: arranging transportation, accommodation, meals, authorizations, etc. as well as coming up with the best schedule, providing expert advises, acting as an intermediary between you and a Japanese co-production (if any), etc. At the same time, we are flexible enough to accommodate any last minute change and request.
